Silk Fibroin Methacryloyl (SilMA) is a methacrylation-modified form of SF created by reacting SF with glycidyl methacrylate, introducing double bonds onto the SF molecules. Due to the unique spatial structure of SF molecules, SF tends to crystallize easily and is difficult to dissolve in water before modification. After introducing additional chemical groups, it can quickly dissolve in water, enabling SilMA to be photopolymerized into a hydrogel.SilMA products launched by Beike Nano are rigorously screened for raw materials and quality controlled, offering stable physicochemical properties. They can cure into a gel within 10 seconds under visible light, have good biocompatibility, strong material scalability, and can provide various viscoelastic properties to suit different application areas.
