Methacrylated hyaluronic acid (Hyaluronic Acid Methacryloyl, HAMA) is created by introducing methacryloyl groups into the hyaluronic acid molecular chain, thereby giving it photopolymerizable capability. Due to its convenient formability and good biocompatibility, HAMA-based material systems have been applied in many biomedical research fields.Including: chondrocyte culture and cartilage regeneration repair, tumor model construction, fabrication of high-strength and adhesive hydrogels, controlled drug release, microneedle preparation, wound dressings, biosensors, and postoperative anti-adhesion.
