Storage conditions: Nanocellulose should be refrigerated at 4 °C. When stored at room temperature for a long time, it will deteriorate (the color turns red)
Other information: The sample can be stable for a long time (months) and cannot be dispersed again after lyophilization. When testing TEM, it is recommended to negatively stain the sample before testing to facilitate observation.
The method for preparing negative staining samples is as follows:
1. Dilute the nanocellulose dispersion to 0.1-0.5% for use.
2. Configure a phosphotungstic acid solution (wt% 3%).
3. Soak the copper mesh in the diluted nanocellulose sample solution and stagnate for 2-3 s. The copper wire was taken out and dried at room temperature for 3 hours.
4. Soak the copper mesh with the sample in a 3% solution of phosphotungstic acid for 2-3 s. Remove the copper mesh and dry it at room temperature for 3 hours, then place it at 80 °C for 1h, to prevent moisture from being removed.
