Adv. Sci. : Fluorine-free 2D niobium carbide Mxene ACTS on ultra-sensitive electrochemical biosensors 修改翻译结果

source:beike new material Views:4237time:2020-11-12 QQ Academic Group: 1092348845

In recent years, 2D niobium carbide Mxene has attracted wide attention due to its advantages such as large specific surface area, good metal conductivity and band gap adjustment, etc., and has a broad application prospect. However, the use of highly toxic fluorocorrosive and long etching time along traditional synthetic routes has greatly hindered the further development of MXene, especially its biomedical applications. In view of this, Jianhua Hao et al. of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University prepared a novel fluoro-free Nb2CTx nanosheet by electrochemical etching (E-etching) stripping method.

Main points of this article:

1) A fluorine-free biosensor based on Nb2CTx/ acetylcholinesterase was constructed by taking advantage of the advantages of Mxene, such as high speed of electrolytic aluminum removal, good chemical stability, and good biocompatibility, for the detection of imine thiophene, with a detection limit up to 0.046 ng ml-1.

2) Compared with the Nb2CTx biosensor etched by hydrofluoric acid, the Nb2CTx biosensor has better performance, indicating that fluorofree Mxene can improve the enzyme activity and electron transfer ability of the biosensor.

In summary, fluorine-free MXene has the prospect of developing biosensors with ultra-high sensitivity and high selectivity. As a stable and biocompatible nano platform, fluorine-free MXene is expected to be extended to other biomedical fields.
