已传文件:photo/1766544328.png Rhodamine B (RhB) is renowned for its strong staining ability and stability. It strongly adsorbs onto the porous surfaces and complex structures of MOF materials.
The key to cleaning lies in disrupting the interaction between RhB and MOF (both physical adsorption and possible weak chemical bonds), while not damaging the structure of the MOF itself.
Operation procedure suggestions:
Firstly: Use ethanol or methanol for Soxhlet extraction or long-term immersion + ultrasonic treatment. This is a standard operation and effective for 90% of cases.
If ineffective: Confirm the acid-base stability of your MOF, and then try soaking with dilute acid or dilute base for cleaning.
Final method: If all the above methods fail, consider mild conditions of H₂O₂ treatment or long-term light cleaning, but be aware that this may alter the material properties. At the same time, this may also mean that the degradation products of RhB or the dye itself have caused irreversible contamination or damage to the MOF structure.
Summary: The optimal strategy is Soxhlet extraction with ethanol + dilute acid/base cleaning after verifying the stability of the MOF. After cleaning, be sure to confirm the effect through DRS and verify the integrity of the MOF structure through XRD.
