Organ-like etching method: TI3ALC2 uses 40% hydrofluoric acid, Ti2AlC uses 10% hydrofluoric acid, and 1g material uses 10ml hydrofluoric acid. Stir at room temperature for 24 hours.
For V2ALC etching, 50% hydrofluoric acid is required, and 20 ml of hydrofluoric acid is required for 1g of material. The etching is performed at 55 degrees Celsius for 3 days.
Intercalation method: Mix MXene powder with 54%-56% TBAOH aqueous solution, the ratio is 1g MXene and 10mL alkali solution.
Ultrasound treatment, that is, pretreatment with TBAOH for 4 hours, placed in water for 20 minutes, and then centrifuged to separate the peeled colloid from the non-layered settlement MXene solution, resulting in a black colloidal solution. For the powder mixed with TBAOH, a similar colloidal solution was also obtained after 21 hours. Again, even after centrifugation, the handshake is sufficient to form a stable colloidal solution, but we decided to use ultrasonic treatment to ensure repeatability.
